The Lord's hand

When I was in second year in Coventry University. In april 2013, the university released exam timetable for end of year exam. To my surprise  i had  one exam on sabbath. I felt so nervous and i didnt know what to do. I went to present my prayer request to the prayer youth meeting in my local church in coventry. We prayed together and me and my friend Chantal went to university faculty. We made a request to change the date of the exam. Few days later we received an answer from the university declining our request because we were to fill up a religious form in January so as they may not place exams on sabbath but it was not made known that such form was available in the university. We went back to the prayer meeting and prayed more that God may solve the situation. I received a letter from my local church Pastor Lambert for more support. Me and Chantal went to meet with the head of my department of civil engineering. He told us of the options to choose from; one is to go to the exam room and  write my name then leave that option may entitle me to resit an exam. I replied to him saying, If i go the exam room on sabbath it means i am still breaking the sabbath commandment so he presented another option that was to repeat the whole subject for the following year and pay for that particular subject £2300. I could not afford to pay it because my parents couldn't understand me when i could tell them that I can not do an exam on sabbath because they are not sabbath keepers and they would like me to associate myself with SDA faith thats another story to tell. I wont be able to choose any of the options I told the head of department. He suggested that i should appeal again. I did so. After few days. I received an email from the university  that I can do the exam when others will be resetting for  that same exam few months later and i don't have to do anything for be eligible for that. I praise God for He stood up for me when I stood up for him. I thank God for the answered prayers from my local church in coventry and my supportive friends Chantal, Patricia and many others. I  urge to the students who are in the university, school or even workers  to put God first no matter the situation and He will always provide a way for each temptation or difficult circumstances (1 Corinthians 10:12-13.) Finally brethren; Be strong in the Lord.
