I was invited to take part in the presentations for a 3 weeks seminar. While the seminar was going on, we had threats from people around the area because they were not happy with the truth that was being taught at the seminar.
A midnight of October 19,there were noises on the roof of the house where the team members were residing. It was as if stones were being thrown to the roof, we were shocked and started to ask ourselves who at 1am throws stones. Immediately after the noises from the roof, we had a loud shout of something landing on the floor from the top, It landed near my bed but I saw nothing. There were also some strange things happening in other rooms of the team members. The Holy Spirit promped us to pray, we pray to God for protection from the witchcrafts that came to disturb us that night.
God answered our prayers. The noises stopped and we went back to sleep in peace till sunrise even unto the end of the seminar.
From that experience, it taught me a lesson of thanking God for His protection even from the things that our naked eyes don't see. We do sometimes take for granted His protection on us.
One of my favorite writer says;
"We cannot know how much we owe to Christ for the peace and protection which we enjoy. It is the restraining power of God that prevents mankind from passing fully under the control of Satan. The disobedient and unthankful have great reason for gratitude for God's mercy and long-suffering in holding in check the cruel, malignant power of the evil one" GC 36.1
It is only by the grace of God that He protects us from our enemies.If we heed to what He bids us, He fulfills the promise of sending his angels to protect us as it is written in " Psalms 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them."
But if we reject him and we persistently resist The Spirit of God , we will have no protection from the malice and enmity of satan.
We owe so much to God for his daily protection on us. Let us not take it for granted but let us be thankful and willing to be led and protected by Him
Amen
