Excuses, excuses ......

"Excuses are monuments of nothingness. They build bridges to nowhere. Those who use these tools of incompetence are masters of nothingness. " ~Unknown author ~

Have you tried to find an excuse not to do something, well i have, many times, well let me share what excuse i used in the last 72 hours.
I woke up fine but after some hours , flue attacked me, with runny nose and headaches, i had difficulties concentrating to prepare  for the radio program  at 6pm, By 4 pm I couldn't concentrate anymore, the situation got worse. I felt some guilt because I decided that I won't go to the radio station because of flue. I called  the chairman in charge of the program to let him know I can't come today to the program, he wasn't available so to relieve the guilt I visited my neighbor whom i have been witnessing to, i went to check up on her. At 5 pm I called the chairman and finally he was available so i gave all the excuses i can give, i am not feeling too well , i am sneezing  and its not good to sneeze at a live program and they will be listers listening, i have headaches, He replied, try your best to come we will pray for you  and you will be fine, i kept on giving excuses, well I don't think i will be able to come on time, its already 5:10 and it takes 1 hr from home to the radio station by public transport so i will be late but  all along i forgot mighty healing power of God, I forgot when He healed me when I had headaches while i was to present a sermon in Zimbwabwe mission trip last year. He insisted that I should go and I answered, I will be there. I took  a motorcycle transport to the radio, the money he charged me actually God gave it to me 2 days ago, I was given some money which I didn't deserve to be given. I praise God, He provided  for the transport two days before. And amazingly I arrived 5 minutes before the program started. Before the program started, I was sneezing but when we prayed, the flue stopped and God was just there, we were able to discuss and share the word of God. After we finished the program, flue came back. I have always heard of hot and cold shower treatment so i gave it a try for two days and I am completely healed. I praise God for allowing me to pass through such experience, He wanted to reveal His healing power when we put trust in Him.
I want to share a beautiful promise found in ;
Jeremiah 33:6  Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.

God bless x

His promises are true

I would like to thank God for everything He keeps doing in our lives. I would like to share a testimony with you how He came through in a situation where I didn't know how it could be resolved.
After spending time with medical missionaries ladies in Tabora last year, my interest to become a medical missionary deepened. I asked for guidance from God on how and where to get the training. I heard of Kibidula where they  teach and take part in evangelism in Mafinga, Iringa. I decided to apply in faith that God was going to lead me and help me in finance as well.
I thank God i was able to apply and finish all the process on time before the course started. Satan had other plans, He used people to discourage me and wanted convince me that Medical missionary is not worth it and even after I finish the course I  I wouldn't be respected in worldly view but Satan knows Medical missionary is not only the right hand of the gospel but also of the heaven origin and it is one of the works that will finish the work of sharing and spreading the gospel to the whole world but God still kept talking to me that I should go. By His grace, He made it possible for me to start the course. I wasn't able to pay all the fees for the course. I kept praying and my friends were praying too. On Wednesday, the principal of the school reminded me of the deadline was just in two days to pay the fees. Today morning, deadline day, the situation  seemed hopeless to me, I didn't know who to ask to help me. I  saw that God wasn't answering the prayer but I surrendered the situation to God because there was nothing I could do. In the afternoon, God answered miraculously the prayer, I was informed that the fees are paid. Amazingly He did it just in time. It reminds me of the story of Lazarus, He was dead and buried for four days, Jesus came on time to resurrect  Him. Jesus is always on time despite what any circumstances, He is faithful God, He keeps his promises. Praise be to God. I would like to share some of my favorite promises ;
  Exo 14:14  "The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."
"Never will our Lord betray one who trusts in Him. As His children draw near to Him for protection from evil, in pity and love He lifts up for them a standard against the enemy. Touch them not, He says; for they are Mine. I have graven them upon the palms of My hands.—Prophets and Kings, 571. – {ChS 166.2}"
We are to cling to Him and His promises.  God bless you.
